About Trauma Uncovered
We’re glad you’re here.
Trauma Uncovered is a Christ-centered healing and discipleship ministry created for women who love God, yet know there are places inside them still shaped by pain.
This space exists for women who are faithful, functioning, and still hurting. Women who have learned how to survive, serve, and even lead — while carrying wounds that never fully healed.
Trauma Uncovered exists because Jesus does not only address sin.
He heals what suffering shaped.
And He is not distant from wounded places.
He enters them.
The Birth of Trauma Uncovered
This ministry did not begin with content.
It began with prayer.
During a season of fasting and seeking God, Sandra felt a clear stirring from the Lord — not about starting a platform, but about healing. About how many women were carrying trauma quietly while living outwardly faithful lives.
The burden was not to motivate women.
It was to walk them into restoration.
What God impressed was simple, but weighty:
Women needed Christ-centered spaces where trauma could be uncovered, not hidden beneath Christian language — and where healing could be pursued, not managed.
Out of that place of prayer, Trauma Uncovered was born.
What began privately soon moved into obedience — Bible studies, conversations, teaching moments, writing, and eventually the creation of shared ministry spaces, including the Trauma Uncovered YouTube platform.
This ministry flows from a calling before it is a project.

Our Story
For much of our lives, trauma did not always have language.
There was faith. Responsibility. Strength. The ability to carry weight and keep moving forward.
We loved God. We served others. We studied His Word.
From the outside, our lives reflected commitment and devotion. Yet internally, there were places shaped by early experiences, loss, family pain, and survival patterns that had never fully been brought into healing.
We did not walk away from God —
but we realized there were parts of our hearts that had never fully been brought to Him.
God did not begin by explaining trauma.
He began by gently uncovering it. And in that uncovering, we encountered not coping — but restoration.
Trauma Uncovered was born from those personal journeys and from a shared calling to steward what
God was healing by walking with other women into truth, ownership, and Christ-centered restoration.
Many women deeply love God — but are still living from places shaped by wounds.
Faith is present.
Prayer is present.
Worship is present.
But fear still interprets life.
Emotional patterns still dominate.
Relationships still ache.
Identity still feels fragile.
Trauma Uncovered exists because Jesus does not avoid these places.
This ministry creates Christ-centered environments where Scripture, emotional honesty, identity, and the presence of God meet — so women are not only comforted, but transformed.

Why Trauma Uncovered Exists

Mission
To help women uncover trauma, walk in truth, and experience restoration through Jesus Christ.
Vision
Women healed, rooted, and restored — living no longer from what wounded them, but from who God is forming them to be.

Meet the Founders
Two women whose healing journeys became a calling to walk with others.
Sandra’s journey with God led her to discover that faith and strength don’t erase wounds — but God meets us in them. Through her experiences as a veteran, wife, mother, and ministry leader, she encountered the kind of restoration that comes when hidden places are brought into Christ’s light. Trauma Uncovered was born from that process of honesty, ownership, and healing. Her heart is to help women encounter Jesus in the places they thought had to stay hidden.
Marta carries a deep heart for women to encounter God personally and truthfully. Her own walk withChrist revealed the power of safe spaces, Scripture, and community in healing. She leads with compassion, wisdom, and a desire to help women grow rooted in God’s Word. Through Trauma Uncovered, she serves women seeking restoration and deeper faith.
